Enough with the Cats and Dogs!

After seven and half years and 120,015 miles I've finally reached the road less traveled and when I reached it, I left my faithful companion on it and I turned around and went home with a check of $4,500.00 in my hand. As the clan debates whether cats or dogs are the better companions, I say screw them both! My inanimate object, my car, is the better companion. No dog or cat has ever gotten me home safely on a cold winters night. No dog or cat have a built in stereo system or air condition or recline so I can rest. A dog or cat can't multitask as an office, kid mover, or gear carrier. When was the last time you saw a dog or cat with a built in cup holder? Face it, the inanimate car is the better companion. Finally, unlike a dog or cat, when a car gets old we don't have to worry about feelings. We don't have to pay thousands of dollars trying to save the car. Our decision is easy, we either junk it or sell it to some schmuck.
