E's First Dance Recital - May 23, 2011

Beginning in fall 2010 Elizabeth began taking Jazz, Tap and Ballet dance lessons. Since she started I have had a very hard time getting any information and even less demonstrations of what she was learning... she was completely mum!  Even mom only saw glimpses of her rehearsals over the past few months...

So on Sunday the big day arrived and I can say she (and all the dancers) did a GREAT job!!!!

The lizard has been getting much better at her wi play but she's not keen on losing. I guess this "you knocked my block off" 2k9 style. If your past this stage , don't you miss it? if it still in your future I bet you can't wait!

Of course I had to put down the camera and promptly pummel nick for my little girl!!!!!

Monster Jam 2008!

Nicholas and his buddy Justin made their annual trek to the Monster Jam on Saturday night. A good (and loud) time was had by all! The Jam also doubles as our "redneck outing" for the year because only half the fun occurs down on the track, Yee Haw!!!










They also have motorcycles doing some amazing stunts and a smash up derby style car race...Next year Billy will join the fun!!!

No More Training Wheels!

Nicholas was very brave this past Sunday and let us remove his training wheels. On his first try he was able to do it and has been riding everyday since!



Now if he would only tie his own shoes....
