What did you do yesterday?

Me?

I flew over (classified) North America and helped lend a hand with the Nebraska Air National Guard refueling fighters and bombers all day...

Thats me in the cockpit of a KC-135 refueler...

Thats a B-52 bomber coming in to "catch the hose"...

While refueling, the bomber was within 8ft...

After filling up, the bomber flies back into the "wild blue yonder" to continue its mission of defending America!

Just another day in the life of keeping America safe...

..that thing got a bathroom?....if u can say? :-)

The head is right behind the cockpit. The cabin is much like an airliner, except almost empty, a few chairs and room for cargo and no windows. The flight was a few hours, although the planes can fly much longer...

How were those pictures taken? They look like some sort of hatch was open but wouldn't that create problems with air pressure? Or were those pictures taken through some very clear glass?
