Hooray for the Lights

 “Over the years, the bulbs were misdirected and began to move,” said Chris McCauley, who heads Redondo Sunset. “So, lights were aiming at the condos and across the way … It had been about a two-year problem at that point.”

 Those lights are expected to last 40 years, costing less to operate and functioning with more precision. An area previously covered by more than 130 lights is now lit up by only 30 and they no longer have complaints from the neighbors, McCauley said.

 “When I first took over as president four years ago replacing the lights was our number one goal,” McCauley said.

"I'm immensely proud of what we were able to do here," McCauley said. "I'll come back when my kids are grown and see these lights will still be up."
