Yes folks, you read right, $65,000 !!!! was paid out on behalf of Mac and our family by the good hands of ALLSTATE to the plaintiff Mrs. V. W. of Wilmington, CA!!!!!!!!
Why??? You may ask... because apparently, or rather allegedly, Mac while jogging beside his master who was riding a bicycle with Matthew sleeping in the rickshaw along the beach ON the BIKE path possibly tripped one V.W. of Wilmington, CA which resulted in a knee surgery...
Yeah I know... BS!!!!!
The breakdown:
insurance company for surgery $30,000
Representing counsel $15,000
Mrs. W of Wilmington, CA $20,000 before taxes...
for tripping at the beach, near MY DOG!!!!
May God have mercy on amerika!!!!

Whose Idea was it to stay at the scene of the incident, yours or Macs'? When you answer that question you will know the mammal that cost your insurance company $65,000.00.
Poor Mac & I'm sure Matt slept through the whole thing too.
what insurance pays for someone tripping at the beach, homeowners??? It happened on public property so why not sue the city/town?? (Mac should of bit her then it would of been justified.)

Mammal- well said, but a big red headed guy with a ten gallon beach hat, 100 lb brown lab and attached bike trailor with skull and cross bones might have made an easy hunt even for our local keystone coppers...

Sometimes you win sometimes you lose. Muggs should have been sued when he brutally assaulted a blind man in a Hoboken bar. I could have been sued for numerous infractions during my life. I witness David using naked aggression towards Mark, myself and innocent people on many occasions. Hell, Mark and I witness the calmest person that we know smack David upside the head for not picking up his beer bottles. The ChiMac and Red --- we don't even want to go down that road -- lets just say this isn't the first a lawsuit that found them. Even GPE has been known to throw a haymaker or two. Lets face it, we come from a combative family! A lawsuit with us is always lurking in the shadow.

sometimes throwing blind people down in a crowded bar is a necessary evil that has to be done... here and there.
Speaking for the blind..representing three just in this clan...we don't appreciate being thrown around the bar every once in a while (: Though when it did happen to me I wish it was in lala land maybe then I would have collected!!!!
If Mac were to have bitten the jogger in the arse, would that have been another 20k? Just curious....
The plaintiffs were suing for $300,000.00 which was the limit of our policy... but they settled for $65k...
Arse biting would have certainly garnered a few more bones...
