POST-OP

Home and resting well!

The BIG scare: PYLORIC STENOSIS...
Big Bill came to Cali and had a restful fun filled couple of days...
First, we took him on the park circuit then to the aquarium...
Then on Thursday life crept in and gave us all a big scare. Late Thursday evening Grace began giving Mom signals that she was in serious distress and might need to "go in"...
By Friday morning we were going... First for an Ultra Sound to confirm the diagnosis then to the Hospital to prep for surgery!
Things happened so fast that we wonder if it were all a nightmare...
By Friday afternoon the surgeon was called and he decided to do the procedure right away.
By Friday evening Grace was out of recovery and back in the room being monitored by awesome nurses and Dr. Mom...
By mid-night she was beginning her first feedings and by 6am she was back on full breast milk and by 2pm Saturday we were discharged and on our way home!
Grace is almost fully recovered and by looking at her you'd never know what she had been through... Babies are truly amazing and extremely resilient!
Thankfully we have many Angels looking down on all of us lending their helping hands...
God Bless family!
Our 2.5 kids home safe and resting...
Matthew having fun with Poppa at the park...

24 hours before surgery...

Last weekend in the OC, Matthew dunks the ball!

Gracey you give new meaning to the phrase don't judge a book by it's cover! you look the picture of perfect girl good health!, my goodness Chris and Laura life just pulls that rug out from under us when ever it feels like it.I'm glad Gracey is back home and thanks for the info, cuz me being who I am I would of went right to Web MD just like I'm going to do for Diane about her son Michael who also is in the hospitial.Jason was in the hospital 3 times as an infint and knowing he was sick, or had pain was more then I could stand, So I know how that part feels but never the worry of surgary.Lots of thoughts and love is here for all of you and all your family goes through.

When I got a call from UB I figured it was a regular "checkin in" call. Little did I know!! I'm very glad everything turned out for the best and quick too. Welcome home (again) Grace..

BTW.. Despite the medical emergency BB said "good trip, 4 stars for sure!!!"

Not sure what KCM did but he still has the only 5 star rated stay according to BB....

Technically, in order to get rated by BB he has to be there at least 48 hours...

Therefore, the 5 star trip must be excluded...

Grace is getting back to normal more and more each day, thanks.

I think I noticed some new grays on me head...
