Someone is Missing...

SAFELY HOME

I am home in Heaven, dear ones;
Oh so happy and so bright!
There is perfect joy and beauty
In this everlasting light.

All the pain and grief is over,
Every restless tossing passed;
I am now at peace forever,
Safely home in Heaven at last.

Did you wonder I so calmly
Trod the valley of the shade?
Oh, but Jesus'love illumined
Every dark and fearful glade.

And He came Himself to meet me
In that way so hard to tread;
And with Jesus' arm to lean on,
Could I have one doubt or dread?

Then you must not grieve so sorely,
For I love you dearly still,
Try to look beyond earth's shadows,
Pray to trust our Father's will.

There is work still waiting for you,
So you must not idly stand;
Do it now, while life remains,
You shall rest in Jesus' land.

When that work is all completed,
He will gently call you Home;
Oh, the rapture of that meeting,
Oh, the joy to see you come!

Thank you to RosaryBox for saving me some keystrokes!

Let this be a loving reminder
That someone is missing today.
Someone our hearts still hold on to,
As we travel along life's way.
Someone who made life special,
For all those who gather here.
Someone who won't be forgotten,
But cherished from year to year.
And now, as we pause to remember,
Let us all fondly recall,
how dearly each of us loved her,
And oh..how she loved us all!

In loving memory of

Aunt Maureen

May you rest now in peace

After Mark died Aunt Maureen sent me (all of us) prayers/poems with words of comfort. I carry the card in my book bag too this very day because of the comfort the words provide and as a reminder of the love that Aunt Maureen had for all her extended family. I will post the words when I can...

Kathy that was very nice what you wrote.I have been thinking for days what I could say to my cousins, I surely know how they feel,and what they are going through.The void left in their hearts for the loss of such a wonderful mother.Right now i just can't help but think about my mother and uncle jimmy and uncle owen who have lost three of their siblings,Grandma gave her children the gift of faith and a deep love of God. Grandma always told me never fear going home to be with the lord that is our true destination and we don't know when that day will come or how,Aunt Maureen wanted to go home and so God ended her suffering, she is now in his care. Aunt Maureen was very brave and to spite how bad her pain was she had the capasity to think about others, she thought about my little grandson and on Monday his gift came, she endured great pain to feel my mothers visit,Aunt Maureen was the family PDR and I will miss her and her smarts! Whenever someone in the family was sick she was the knowledge to put our mind at ease.God bless Aunt Maureen,I will never forget you,When we the Espositos needed you the most you were there for us, how special to me you will always be,forever with all my love Helenmary. I would of given anything to see you this summer, I believe in my heart for reasons best known to me you know the truth.My thoughts are with all my family this weekend. God bless you all

I am sad and very sorry that I will not be making it to Denver to be with the family for the Aunt Maureen's service. My thoughts and prayers are with the Callaghans and the rest of the family.

I don't know if anyone would be reading this blog today but if anyone has the address and name of the place where the funeral services will take place, would you please email me mulligan.kim@gmail.com. Thank you.

Love,

Kim

Kim, I'm sorry no one had read the blog in the last few days.
it was so good to have your mom there with us.

Aunt Maureen had a beautiful service.

For those who couldn't be there I'm sure the Callaghan Family knew you were all there in spirit. At this time the best gift to give them is to pray for them. That God will comfort & ease their pain, each & everyone of them as they go through the grieving process.

Kim is that a new e-mail address??
