The Classroom - 8/27/08
This is it, PS 43
built in 1902
Sarah, Grandma & I went with Andrea
to see where she'll be teaching
& help her to set up the classroom.
Grandma & I did all the bulletin boards for her. This the one by door.
As you can see we had our work cut out for us.
The place was a mess.
Andrea's desk is finished.
Hopefully she'll get the rest done by Tuesday when school opens.
how exciting for Andrea! Best of luck in your very first job teaching your own class!! The room helpers did a super job from what I can see, one of my favorite things when I went to visit my kids class rooms were to look around at all the special touches the teacher put into her room and she did did it for the students, I like the desk too!
The idea of a family blog was born at our gathering for Mark on Friday March 23, 2007. This is a great way to communicate over many miles and time zones.
We look forward to everyones contributions - thoughts, comments, debate, pictures or whatever you like!

Good Luck Andrea!
Wow I have the same lights in my classroom...
I love the desk, my advice: stay in it as much as possible and read the paper...
Don't listen to the nay sayers Andrea!

When your done there I'll expect you out here... Just remember to wear blue...
Dodger blue or gang blue?
It does look like quite the job just getting that room in order. Is Joe Clarke the principal?

Andrea's kids wear school uniforms, light blue shirts & navy pants
