i remember going to Sunday dinner at aunt Bridie's. she made the best homemade cakes.
excuse me but the cakes you remember were made for me!! i was the special one down, remember you were aunt anns girl!!Gary was the other one icecream and chips and soda!! and the basket of toys by the desk!
We should all have life ong friends like grandma had...
Aunt Bridie took verrry good care of me on days when grandma worked..pringles, a&w root beer, strawberries with milk and sugar..just some of the special treats she would have when she knew I was coming over. I also remember Sunday afternoon dinner and then the word jumbos, lawence welk and the wild kingdom...
oh that's right you were/are the special one, aunt Bridie was your godmother?! yes?
anyway she always made a cake when she was invited to one of our functions even when she couldn't' see well anymore.
gpe your words brought so many memories to surface i always loved going to spend time with her.
