Welcome to our blog dedicated to allll the offspring (and the offspring of the offspring and in-laws too) of Owen and Catherine Mulligan of New Rochelle, New York.
maybe the weasel and the woodpecker can become friends.
Thats quite the woodpecker, Joyce!! I like the silver freeze... I always like the icicles that formed in the winter whether coming off the roof or from the trees they were "cool" to see and neat to mess with...
Nice pics. CA winters are not quite the same. It gets cold here but grass starts to grow due to the increased rainfall in the winter. Just this past weekend, I was hiking and noticed baby grass coming up. It's still weird to me. The bird picture looks like the pileated woodpecker or better know as 'woody'.
I like to see the ice and snow from afar...Thanks for reminding me of scaping my windshield, warming up the car, slipping in the driveway, crappy window defrosters and my favorite memory: running out of heating oil over the weekend...Boy am I glad I now go to the cold on my terms like when I go skiing. Which speaking of, I will be doing quite soon and only a short hour and a half drive away. How bout them apples SO FLO!!!
yes Kim, we thought it looked like woody too! Thee was actually two of them one on each tree. don't forget those two hour school delays that we had the day of the ice. and red you may have some competition on the slopes soon. Sarah has joined the ski club at school. Her Dr. gave his OK as long as a family member accompanies her, so Andrea will be going with her on the trips...I'm nervous wreck
I am much more fonder of my winter memories...now that I don't make too many ew ones......I enjoy crisp much more then cold these days. You go Sarah!!!
