No Tiltle

Thank you Diane for Mark's birthday remembrance published in the Po'k Journal on October 23-07-

I am not one for emails, computers ect -they take up so much time once you get started however there has been something I have been wanting to do since I laid to rest forever my gentle baby Mark. And that is to thank those who took the time out of their busy lives and travelled so far to be with me and my family- my brother James, Bill, Kyle, Christopher and Owen- I cannot really tell you all how much it meant to me to see you there. And Jane for your generosity- thanks to you there is a brick in memory of Mark to be placed at the St. Columba Church/school grounds- it is still not here yet - seems to be taking forever but I will be notified when it is in and anyone visiting in Wappingers Falls can stop by and see it- To Cathy Dalton who has never forgotten Mark- thank you for the beautiful red rose that you place at his grave I can't believe I am saying that and for that little white box of memories left there too- It has brought such comfort to know how much someone else cared- Maureen - thank you for the beautiful poem "I'm Free" I cry when I read it and yet in my heart of heart s I know it was god's plan for Mark- his life was such a struggle yet in many ways a very full life- Thank you all my children for loving me- Jjoyceanne, Helenmary, Kathleen Lucille, Diane Elizabeth, David Willliam and #7 Gary Patrick. ps- Lauren thank you for being there too-

No more picking on Christopher and Gary - just give them both a flogging111

It dawned on me, Mark is the reason the blog came to exist and ironically he would have been the one to enjoy it most, besides me of course. I can imagine how creative and perplexing his commentary would have been.

I find comfort in knowing how happy he must be in seeing all of the generations sharing together through this medium. Our updates, rants, jokes and glimpses of each others lives is truly priceless.

Diane I think that was awesome putting that in the paper and Aunt Anne your grace and strength are a model for us all. God bless!

PS: dont give up on the computers and stuff and thanks for influencing the voting pool towards a good ole flogging!!!!

That is a beautiful poem and am so happy that we have this blog to share it. I know Mark is smiling down on all of us connecting through this blog. There is so much more we know about each other than we did before.

Auntie Ann, your words made tears come to my eyes and my heart goes out to you and his siblings for your loss. We know that we go on with our lives but the feeling of loss never seems to go away. I'm glad that we have this forum to share our memories of Mark and our other loved ones. I hope you continue to share your beautiful thoughts.

Wow, that post was so good it forced me to change my vote from permanent loss of administrative duties to a public flogging. I guess I will have to save my strength to write my next treatise for when Colorado is picked for the family reunion. The fix is in. I will be in NY on saturday at a beer convention at pier 92 between 12pm and 4 pm. Muggs, you are more than welcome to attend. I will be posting pictures of interlopers since interlopers are now allowed on our blog.
Thanks for the support GPE, paybacks are a bitch. Hahahahaha

i smell smoke on some of these blog comments!!!boys boys boys, why dont you flip a coin and rotate the administrator hat??? we love you all!! but your killing us with a serious case of family blog LOL LOL LOL LOL, and to tell you the truth my sides hurt!! john what do you think, do your sides hurt? hehehe!!!

gpe said...

he he rotating admin duties is good in theory but unfortunately not everyone (insert kcm, chitown, kilroy, scott fredman and norcross here) have the necessary technical abilities or psychologig admin world and is gaining tons of experiene cal makeup to handle the responsibilities that come with the position......now muggs is another story...documents leaked from the recent copygate crisis indicate that the coadmin crown that resides on the left coast was almost transferred to muggs. He is highly respected in the blog world and has been gaining tons of experience adminning an ORIGINAL blog of his own..
