ROAD TRIP! Our CA to CO road trip was wonderful...

So we had the great opportunity to crash Danny's birthday party at Aunt Maureen's house! Kim and I drove out for a concert with two friends (whose idea it was to drive is still a mystery!), but we also got to see a Giants vs. Rockies game and go back stage at Red Rocks for our first concert there! We had lunch with my Uncle and our highlight of course, was the burning G.I. Joe man attached to helium balloons... I mean Danny's birthday party. :)

Go Giants! Oh well... Maybe next year. We even lost this game we drove 1200 miles to see 7 to 4! We also got to experience "The Taste of Colorado" which was fun. I tried to make a joke about going to the taste of Cleveland, and then we saw this entrance! :)

Great post! There is nothing like the open road. How long did it take from Frisco? The CO crew look well. I bet that concert was quite a trip... Keep em coming!!!

Great post, honey. Thanks for keeping up with the blog.

It was great seeing the Callaghan crew, especially seeing the young cousins that are growing up so quickly.

The drive was about 18 hrs. On the way there, we stopped in Tahoe for an overnight since our friends had a cabin and did most of the drive the next day to Denver. On the way back, we stopped in Wendover, NV, which is about half way home.

It was a loooong drive but worth every bit. :)

Hey Kim's hubby..
great pics you all look like you enjoyed yourself. And the a Colorado crew still looks good too. They don't look like they minded you crashing Danny's party.
