A Night at the Ballpark, With a Twist!
Nicholas went to the Marlins and Cubs game tonight with his buddy Kyle. Not only did they see some of the game (school night) they had special tickets (thanks to Kyles Mom - Thank You Tracy!) to go on the feild and into the dugout during batting practice. He was hesitant at first but he changed his mind and had a good time meeting some of the players, watching batting practice and getting autographs.
I think he'll remeber this for a while!

Moomy took him and didn't even get to see her favorite pitcher
Nicholas looks very excited to be therre. too bad it had to be the Marlins, he got to meet.
That's AWESOME and I'm totally jealous. :) He will remember this one for awhile, and what a neat memory!
JOYCE that was not nice!! no matter the team for a little kid getting to meet a REAL BALL PLAYER good or bad doesn't matter, the player made time for my little NICK!! if NICK is happy with the player and the TEAM them it's good enough for me!!! it was my uncle bill way back when that took me to meet the mets not just once, getting Willie Mayes ordergraph is something i as a now grown woman wii never FORGET!!! Chris gpe is many years ahead of you, by the time your boy get to do that all there will be left is minor leagues!!!oh yeah hehe!!kims hubby thanks for the nice reply for my Nicks sake, at his age he doesn't care if the guy stinks or the team he just LOVES BASEBALL!!! remember adults, kids only know what you TEACH them so WATCHIT!!jod job MOM/ and dad!!!!I'm thrilled for Nicholas, kids can read you know, and there feelings can be hurt, that better not happen EVER good bye!!!
god bless mommies
god bless daddies
god bless thoughtfulness
god bless the any ball player who puts a smile on a little kids or big face and a pen to his ball, for every nick and kile there is thousands of kids who will never get that chance!!!

i had a feeling it was Kyle, our hero!!
I dont respond to anonymous'...
now now!!
wow that was the greatest time ever, especilly since it wasnt the lousey yankees, they suk.....thanks dad....love nick....go redsox
So I asked Nic who was in the pictures and they are two relievers and a reserve outfielder...
57 Taylor Tankersley (standing in dugout and sitting on the steps)
22 Matt Lindstrom (signing)
25 Brett Carroll (sitting on the bench)
Hopefully I got them right!
As for our minor leauge team.. it does have its perks. If they ever get a new stadium we'll miss those intimate nights at the ballpark, entire section to ourselves....no traffic jams.....and I love my Yanks but I don't think they'll be inviting me to BP anytime soon. Oh and the minor leaguers have won TWO world championships in the last decade. How many do the choking mets have??????????????????
i got a icon.....yeah
That is pretty cool, john
How'd you do that??
the quick answer is....go to your profile on blogger and follow the instructions...
First ....you need to have a photo on blogger to reference.
second.... start a new post...place the photo you want to use as your icon in that post.
third ..take all the background info of the photo - ( the info is in the place that u build or edit the post) - and cut and paste it into the according part of your profile
its not to hard to do..
Nice addition Muggs!!
Go Yanks!!!
