Dead Tree Fallin....apart?
This nasty, smelly, ugly tree is in our front yard...but not for long it is literally falling apart so now we have no choice to have it removed. What do think that is going to cost?? And why do those ugly mushrooms grow on a dead trees????
If you like we can send a florida hurricaine your way....they are very good at removing weak and dying tree...of course they tend to leave'em on top of yur house!
Bummer! Sure is an ugly tree. Especially the shrooms growing out the side like that... I say whatever it'll cost it would be cheaper in Cali. Two reasons, first trees don't grow mushrooms on themselves like that in our fabulous climate. Secondly, our tree cutters cost less cause they are illegal aliens. Fourthly, with the money saved Harry could bake more cakes!
.You guys are very funny you should have your own comedy hour...we are getting an estimate today so we'll see what they charge for trees with extra growing things on them

alright Helen... the tree & it's growths are history. when i get back from CO. it will be gone. Harry hired the tree guy to do the deed. $600.00 not bad, I guess??
we might have to take down our weeping willow in our backyard too. it has a rust disease. there doesn't seem to be any treatments that will remove the disease. we are bummed about it & also worried about the cost of removing it. it's probably 30-40ft high. I hope the cost is in the same ball park of your tree quote.
john your to funny, lol! Nature put the tree in for free, but the tree guy gets $650 to take it out??thats the american way!! kim dont feel bad florida trees have cancer so lots of them had to go and the trees were beautiful, people were very upset.
The idea of a family blog was born at our gathering for Mark on Friday March 23, 2007. This is a great way to communicate over many miles and time zones.
We look forward to everyones contributions - thoughts, comments, debate, pictures or whatever you like!

good luck with your tree removal!
That eye sore should be gone by the time i return form the unofficial family reunion in Colorado. Harry has it under control.
it doesn't seem right to have to cut down trees but if they are dead or diseased i guess it is for the best
we thought it would run about $1000.00 but the guy is charging $650. & we'll go with that
