Earth Day!!

No one mentioned Earth day and what you all are doing to help preserve our home. It is up to us to do little things now so our Matthew, Sarah, Ana , Nicholas, & Elizabeth and all the rest of the young ones will have a place to grow up to. Kim, if you read this How do we plant the seeds from the wedding you gave to everyone? That was a great idea by the way!
Okay, I am off my soap box now. When I figure out how to post photos I have some to share, bye for now!

In honor of earth day I will say,

I teach inner city kids the value of recycling and caring for the environment daily, they are just too worried about being shot at to care...

Also, as an earth science educator I strongly suggest watching the new series on Discovery channel:

PLANET EARTH narrated by Sirgourney Weaver
filmed in HD and has 12 awesome episodes...

Now excuse me while I drive my v8 chevy tahoe with only me in it at 80 mph...

Yes I saw the Earth Day show, that is what inspired me especially when we get in our Aqura MDX & go for ice cream..

I can say that since Nick has been in pre-school I have done a much better job of recycling newspapers, cans, and bottles.

I heard this week that taking a minute off your shower has a big impact on water consumption (we have water restrictions) but this change will take sometime on my part...I can't seem to get squeaky clean in under ten minutes!!

Hmmm

I just did my recyclables for the last 2 weeks. It was one pail full. Makes you feel good. My next thing will be replacing my light bulbs. If we all do that then we can save enough energy for something for a year.

Andrea, how many years of college (and how many $?)...
And Dork is the best we can do????

Yes I'm changing all my bulbs too!
