Quick Update from So Fla

Inspired by KCM's recent contribution to the blog I present a few snippets happenings in South Florida from some of our junior clan members... We hope you enjoy.

Nick, Baseball..Enough Said...(playing 14u now..pitching, catching, infield.. need two more wins to win the fall championship - 11-0-3 record)

So Cal Visit - Spring 2013

Nicholas and I took a spring break to Kali-E-forN-Ia and had a great time visiting with the McCauley's west and seeing the sites. (On board the USS Iowa)

Golden!

Nicholas has made the Gold Honor roll for the 9th straight quarter (nine more than me!!). 

 But it is the first time his school actually had a celebration for the students.  They were very happy and we are very proud!

Elizabeth's Dance Recital 2012

E's First Dance Recital - May 23, 2011

Beginning in fall 2010 Elizabeth began taking Jazz, Tap and Ballet dance lessons. Since she started I have had a very hard time getting any information and even less demonstrations of what she was learning... she was completely mum!  Even mom only saw glimpses of her rehearsals over the past few months...

So on Sunday the big day arrived and I can say she (and all the dancers) did a GREAT job!!!!

Spring Break 09 in So Fla

Its spring break here in South Florida so that means its time for baseball..

and buddies (that's Kyle K from Maine with Nic)

and since he gets a break from homework he had time to lose his first upper tooth!

So far its been a fun two days. My party ends tomorrow but the adventures of Nic and Liz continue all week. Give the pic of Nic and his glove a click to see how that came about..

100th Day of School!

To mark the 100th day of the school year Nicholas" class had projects related to the number 100. They had to decorate a shirt with items grouped in tens and totaling a hundred. They also did crafts in the classroom to mark the occasion.






Of course Elizabeth had to have a "100" shirt too!
