Reunion 2011 Update - Well Done Mulli-Clan!!

We have secured 99% of our cabins at the Elms!!! If you have not reserved your spot or have not committed to coming you still have options now and as the reunion gets closer.  Be sue to check with the Elms or contact JAD or the Chicago McC's for nearby lodging options.

This really is a great accomplishment on the road to the reunion. We know everyone has different circumstances and challenges that factor into attending or not and when you can commit etc..  so this is really cool and the whole clan deserves a pat on the back!!!!

2011 Family Reunion - Compound Selection

You may have noticed the black smoke billowing from the Vatican turned white today....

The Mulligan Clan Family Reunion Steering Committee has made a lodging selection.  

The selection was made to satisfy criteria essential to a successful reunion for all

• One location so all attendees that want to connect with family can stay at one facility
• Family friendly - open the door and let the kids play!
• BBQ  picnic area
• Well reviewed (service, cleanliness)
• Accommodate families, couples and singles
• On-site recreation and activities (adult and kids)
• Relaxed atmosphere...but near wide range of attractions and destinations
• Reasonably pricing

The Elms Waterfront Cottages and Lodges is an 18 unit property located just outside Lake George on Lake Luzerne, NY.  Big enough to hold as many clan members that can make it but small enough to make the 2011 reunion truly special because we will all have the option to be on the same grounds.

The Whole Clan

On October 11 the Espositos' reunited at Crawford Park in Rye Brook. It was the first such gathering in 20 years and loooong overdue.

Dad's younger Sister Annmarie, younger brother Tommy and older sister Kay.

Mom and Cousin Loraine (Dad's first cousin)

Diane and Helen with Uncle Tommy the family jokester who had everyone laughing and smiling all day long!

It was a pretty special day for everyone.. Even though it had been a real long time since most of us saw each other (or even just met) it did not take long to catch up, share old memories and make new ones on a truly special day.

We are a few min from the Rec Center in Silverthorne

Very close to the Super 8 Motel

And approximately a mile(or a little more than) from the McCauley compound.

Most of us have our plane tickets as well.

Mulligan Mailer Update!!

Let me begin by thanking you for all of your speedy responses to the recent mailer re: a family reunion. I think many of you should consider a second job as comedians. The comments & suggestions that you added to the questionnaire were quite entertaining.

Family Reunion in '08!!

The idea of a Mulligan Family Reunion is not a farce....

The last time an event of this magnitude occurred was in 1985.

Here are two good reasons to consider another one in summer 2008. (please refer to photos) and if for no other reason we all look better now & really need to update the photo for our kids sake!!

Family Reunion 2008!

Hi,
I am puttting this out there for all who visit our blog. I think it's time to plan a family reunion. The Mulligan Clan is growing by leaps and bounds. So wouldn't it be awesome to plan a gathering where we can all be together and reconnect? The last time this was done was back in 1985 for Grandma's birthday. first lets get some feedback on the idea. All comments are welcome and let's put it to a vote.
